DSN S 546
DSN S 546 is a process-focused studio offered through Iowa State University's College of Design, emphasizing creative production methodologies. In collaboration with artist Peter Walker and his AK Studio staff, students are challenged to engage with the creative process in new and unknown ways.
Bridging the gap between individual academic practices and "real world" vocational scenarios, students are be tasked with ushering multiple projects from inception to completion.
With the aim of strengthening creative vision and communication in new and unknown creative scenarios, students are be challenged to collaborate on projects reaching beyond their typical course of academic study.
As part of DSN S 546, AK Studio offers a weeklong intensive workshop where the students work with industry professionals, engaging in hands-on applications.
