Exhibition
Walker works with designers, exhibition techs, musicians, photographers, projectionists, carpenters, printers, and sculptors to create immersive exhibits and gallery installations.
Mina Las Pintadas
A collaboration between AK Studio and Sī, Mina Las Pintadas is a permanent installation at the AK Studio headquarters in Los Angeles and is open to private showings.
Isle of Eigg
Presented in a pop-up gallery in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles, The Changing Landscapes (Isle Of Eigg) installation allowed different sound and video clips from the island to appear isolated or mixed together in various ways, depending on where the viewer chose to stand. One could become intimate with a particular sound and image, or allow a unique mixture to ensue. The user interaction dissected the artist's process-based, improvisational methodology and presented it in a physical space.
98 Orchard
Presented in collaboration with 98 Orchard Gallery in New York City, this exhibition simultaneously featured three separate pieces of audiovisual work using wireless headphones and separate audio transmitters. Programming included live musical performances and an interactive audio sculpture.
1700 Naud
The Changing Landscapes (Wauters Farm) exhibition, which debuted at LA Chinatown's 1700 Naud gallery, featured multiple works surrounding the release of the eponymous short film, including a multi-projector video installation, interactive sculpture, photography, and live performance. The exhibition invited visitors to explore and participate in the artist's creative methodology.
Palmetto
Palmetto was a multimedia installation the studio built from the ground up in Los Angeles, featuring a large-scale four-sided projection cube with improvised graphic manipulation and immersive audio feeds, as well as a separate viewing room for 10 newly-created experimental short films. The dark, tunneled entrance into the light cube reflected the project's overall study of dark/light as representations of unconscious/conscious.
